In this ethereal painting, Clarissa honors the Samaúma, one of the most sacred trees in the Amazon. Known as the “Tree of Life” or “Mother of the Forest,” the Samaúma towers above the canopy, its roots sprawling like veins across the forest floor, a living symbol of connection between earth, sky, and spirit.
Here, the soul of the tree emerges as the face of an Indigenous woman, subtly revealed behind layers of Samaúma leaves.
A single drop of paint trickles over her eye, echoing a tear, a poignant reminder of sorrow, resilience, and the ongoing threats faced by the forest.
The geometric tribal motifs recall sacred patterns, silent languages that hold memory, identity, and spiritual wisdom.
In this work, Clarissa gives presence to the unseen, to the spirits of nature, to ancestral knowledge often overlooked. It’s a visual offering and an invitation to listen to the forest that breathes for us all.

All originals are shipped in very safe boxes by the Swiss Postal service or FEDEX. You will receive a tracking number and you'll be required to sign the parcel upon receipt.
Once your work of art has arrived, you will own the original piece with all the texture and depth of an original. However, I retain all copyrights and reproduction rights to my artwork - they do not transfer with the sale of original pieces.

Returns must be insured with the value of the painting. Please keep proof of postage and it's recommended to always send the item tracked. Items cannot be refunded if they don't make it back or arrive damaged.
