Spirit of sacred cacao
Price available upon request
Once known as the “food of the gods”, cacao has long been cherished as a sacred plant medicine, used in rituals by Mesoamerican cultures such as the Maya and Aztecs as a heart opener, to foster connection, and invite presence.
In this painting, the woman carrying a child embodies the spirit of cacao as a mother, a giver, a nurturer, and a guardian of life. Surrounded by the leaves and pods of the cacao tree, she radiates warmth, dignity, and quiet strength.
This is an invitation to see cacao not j as a commodity, but as a conscious being. When honored ceremonially, cacao heals and unites. Through this work, we are called to reconnect with the feminine, to honor the origins of what and how we consume, and to choose a path of greater awareness and respect.
