Every project starts differently. Sometimes with someone else's vision, sometimes with mine. I work across three ways, depending on what a project needs:
Following brand direction
When a brand, an architect or an agency already has a vision, palette, or creative brief in place, I work within it. Translating an existing art direction into hand-painted pattern, true to the brand's world rather than my own.
Art Direction
On projects that need it, I take the lead creatively — developing the concept, palette, and pattern language from brief to final design, and guiding the piece through to production.
Original design
Independently, I design wallpaper patterns led purely by my own work, nature studies and botanical motifs developed into panoramic scenes or repeat patterns, available to license or commission as-is.
Whichever way a project starts, the process is hand-painted from the first sketch, nothing is generated or template-based.
