Le Parc de Bastions Revisité
A CUSTOM MURAL FOR FIEF SA, GENEVA
The concept
When FIEF SA, embarked on a full re-branding and re-looking of their offices, they reached out to create a mural that would anchor the new identity in something the firm has held for decades: its address at the Bastions, one of Geneva's most prestigious and emblematic neighborhoods.
Having been closely involved in the broader re-branding process myself, I was able to draw directly from the new color palette we'd developed together across all branding materials, weaving similar tones into the mural so it would feel like a natural extension of the interior design planned for the offices in the near future, rather than an isolated addition.
Research & Feng Shui
Every mural I paint begins with looking closely, and this project was no exception. I spent time studying the park itself: its trees and vegetation, the elegant lines of the historic buildings framing the space. This research became the visual foundation for the piece, ensuring that what would eventually appear at the office entrance wall felt authentic to the neighborhood.
Since I'm deeply attentive to Feng Shui principles when creating a mural, I wanted this entrance (the mouth of Chi) to be charged with symbols of abundance and wellbeing, so that anyone walking through would immediately feel welcomed by a sense of growth and prosperity, setting the tone for the rest of the space around it.
